I am an Alberta farm girl, turned “professional student,” turned lost and confused mess, turned addiction counsellor, turned nomadic betrayal trauma therapist. After my own experiences with infidelity and heartbreak, I discovered that wandering this beautiful blue planet of ours was one way that I was able to reconnect with my sense of self. And because I have not yet figured out where I want to put down roots, I thought, “why not just keep moving?”

I am an introverted people person, if you can make sense of that. I do not do well with big crowds or small talk. But get me one on one and tell me about your hurts or what lights you up and I am all in! When I am not in session I can usually be found in some artsy cafe, bookstore, nature or getting entirely lost in a random country.

I believe that our bodies bear the burdens of our past and this manifests as trauma symptoms, depression, anxiety, chronic illness etc. I deeply believe in the healing power of being able to tell our story. I also believe that in order for our storytelling to BE healing, there are certain necessary conditions that must be met, like being seen, heard, valued and safe, which is one hundred percent my mission when working with the lovely folks who choose to enter my virtual therapy space.

As a member of the Lost & Found  team, I work primarily with individuals who are on a journey to heal after betrayal, infidelity and/or relationship breakdown utilizing a holistic approach. Betrayal can be incredibly disorienting and earth shattering and I strive to provide a therapeutic experience that creates safety and stability while providing ongoing assessment and strength-based approaches to help you reach your goals. Betrayal trauma is complex as is the human experience, and I am so honoured to support you as we traverse through the messiness of life, one step at a time.

I bring 7 years of working with individuals, families and children with a focus on trauma healing, crisis management and addiction recovery. I practice from an attachment focused lens using a variety of approaches including Emotion Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I also deeply believe in incorporating somatics (the body) into the healing process and find skills related to nervous system regulation incredibly valuable.

I am forever a student, farm wife, momma, and a gal who values connection and authenticity whether it comes from a catch up (with good coffee), sharing a yoga room full of mats, or a safe therapy space. My passion is found in creating an atmosphere to share our experiences of living this life; the joy, sorrow, pain, highlights and everything in between. You deserve a place to be seen and heard. I am here to allow you to drop your shoulders, take a breath, and let life pause for a minute while we figure this out together. My space is your space. See you there.

Hi! I’m Zoë. My favourite thing about myself would have to be my curiosity - which might explain why I love to travel so much - however, I believe it is the trait that allows me to connect so deeply with others. I have not stumbled into this profession by accident! I have been fascinated by behaviour and the way people think for as long as I can remember. Outside of our sessions, I love to go to hot yoga classes, read fiction (currently reading the ACOTAR series), play the odd round of golf, and have deep life chats with my best friends. Above all else, and as previously mentioned, my favourite thing to do is travel and be near the ocean!

Having experienced betrayal, infidelity, and heartbreak myself, I feel privileged to be able to support others who are going through something similar. I understand the confusion, grief, and anger that often accompany such experiences. Feeling overwhelmed by the what ifs, the comparison, and the absolute blow to your sense of self-worth and confidence can be such a heavy load to carry and I would like to assure you that you do not need to carry it alone.

As traumatic as it is to go through something like that, I do believe there is not only a way to heal, but a way to come out on “the other side” with a better understanding of yourself and the world, if you give yourself the chance to explore that. I take a person-centred, trauma informed approach to give clients a safe space to tell their story, be validated, and feel seen.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the CRPO, a member of the CCPA with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree. I have additional trainings and certifications in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples counselling. I have also found using somatic practices and focusing on nervous system regulation to be particularly helpful for clients who are processing trauma and I often use mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT) with clients in sessions.

Hi, I’m Hayley! I love to travel and explore our incredible world. Nothing brings me more joy than connecting with people and learning about our differences! I have always found the human mind so interesting, and I am excited to work closely with others who are seeking to understand themselves better.

I know firsthand how devastating heartbreak, infidelity, and betrayal can be. While the isolating experience of losing my “person” has led to some intense reflection and healing, it has also fitted me with a unique perspective on relationships and trauma. I am honoured to put my knowledge to good use by providing the support needed to help navigate your pain.

Please remember that you are not alone; I have been where you are, and felt the earth-shattering grief, shame and sadness that can accompany betrayal, infidelity and relationship breakdown. Having a safe space to work through these complicated feelings is a crucial step in healing and one I can guarantee. Although it may feel like your self-worth is at an all-time low, we can work together to heal these wounds, allowing you to feel more like yourself again.

I am a Registered Psychotherapist (qualifying) with the CRPO and a Professional Member of the CCPA with a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree. I have additional training in Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). My person-centred approach ensures that you are in control of every session and constantly feel seen and understood.

I have worked in the field of addictions for 15 years. I have extensive group and individual experience with addiction and trauma recovery. My personal experiences with addiction and my education have deeply influenced my passion for recovery and my journey as a therapist. I have empathy and compassion for your struggles as I understand the impact addiction has on the individual and those we love.

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Newfoundland and I love the ocean. My Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counselling through Briercrest College and Seminary focused on Attachment, EFT, CBT, Narrative therapy, Child, Adolescent and Adult Counselling, Forgiveness and Healing. I understand that forgiveness is not an easy topic and in healing through my own relationships, I have found it necessary and possible. This has allowed me to also work with families and couples who have separated and wish to remain connected.

I provide a trauma informed practice where individuals, couples and families can get to the root of their struggles and find healing from a painful past. Recovery from addiction, trauma and/or betrayal will restore your sense of self, help you to build healthier relationships, create compassion, encourage forgiveness and overall, allow you to have more life satisfaction.
